Desmos has built a graphing calculator for today's student — it's free, easy-to-use, and browser-based. The company just announced a successful funding round led by Google Ventures. Says Founder & CEO Eli Luberoff, "We imagine a world where everyone understands — and enjoys — math, where no student thinks that math is too hard or too dull to pursue."
Why we like them:
At once practical and visionary, Desmos has created a tool that promotes universal math literacy and provides immediate value to teachers and students.
